Johnny Haddad is a freelance photographer established in Beirut. Photography started as a hobby back in the early eighties when he used to sell his private war pictures to local newspapers and magazines. Few years later, he was awarded by “le Centre Culturel Français” and was elected as the photographer of the year for two consecutive years. He also won many photo competitions in Lebanon and France. In 1989, his work was published in the French “Photo” magazine and he got his first professional assignment. He started doing portfolios for French modeling agencies like “Top Anabelle” and “Itis”. In the early nineties, He opened his professional studios in Beirut and started shooting Lebanese and international singers and his work was seen on almost every Magazine and CD cover or billboard. He worked on big advertising campaigns with renowned agencies like “Saatchi, Intermarkets, Fortune Promoseven and Spirit among others. He achieved all the” Sony Pan-Arab” advertising campaigns and brochures and his clients are as famous as “Cyprus Airways, Rotana Hotels, Patchi, Syriatel, Sony and Hugo Boss”. In 2002, he won one gold press print award and two outdoor silver awards. Johnny Haddad became also a lecturer in the Lebanese University and has been teaching photography for the last 25 years. His work and his achievements are appraised in Lebanon, Europe, Dubai and all the Gulf Countries for the last 25 years.
